Method

Uses the ENERGY STAR floor-area capacity bands, height scaling, ±10% sun adjustment, 600 BTU/h per occupant above two and a 4,000 BTU/h kitchen adjustment.

Important limits

Screening only. Indian climate zone, insulation, glazing, air leakage, orientation and equipment design require a qualified heat-load assessment.
