How the calculation works

Annual operating hours = hours/day × days/year. Annual energy is scaled from the entered reference hours, or calculated from comparable measured average power. Payback uses only positive purchase premium and running-cost saving.

Important limits

Star rating alone is not enough. Compare exact models on the same basis. Climate, setpoint, installation, maintenance, tariff changes and finance costs are not modelled.
