A clear example, with a clear limit
- Illustration: a 100kVA nameplate and a 70kVA reviewed load leave 30kVA by subtraction.
- If the planned simultaneous addition is 20kVA, the arithmetic total becomes 90kVA.
- That leaves 10kVA in the worksheet. It is not an approval to connect the new machine.
- If your plan includes a reserve, state its amount and reason. Do not quietly apply a universal spare-capacity percentage.
