Method

Total dynamic head = static elevation + required pressure head + straight-pipe loss + fitting loss. Water friction uses entered Hazen-Williams C and actual internal diameter.

Important limits

Use the pump curve at the calculated duty point. This does not verify NPSH, bore yield, transient pressure, pipe rating or pump suitability.
