पूरी protection system जाँचें
Motor protection relay आम तौर पर control circuit के जरिए trip signal देता है। यह अपने-आप contactor, circuit breaker, safe isolation या पूरे starter panel की जगह नहीं लेता। कोई component बदलने से पहले electrician पूरी coordinated installation जाँचे।

Selected model में असली display, fault codes और history features जाँचें। Fault indication detect हुई condition बताता है, जरूरी नहीं उसका root cause भी बताए। Logging capacity और response time manual से लें, केवल “digital” शब्द से नहीं।
Exact models और documented functions compare करें
हर shortlisted model के लिए motor-duty और current ratings; overload, voltage तथा phase functions; dry-run sensing method; timer/restart; display; enclosure; accessories; written warranty और तारीख सहित total price लिखें। जो function नहीं है या documented नहीं है उसे साफ लिखें। केवल digital या mechanical नाम protection और reliability तय नहीं करता।

पूरी protection system जाँचें
Order से पहले motor nameplate से phase, voltage, HP/kW और rated current लिखें। Panel, contactor duty, overload adjustment range और enclosure को उसी motor और installation से match करें। केवल HP से compatibility confirm नहीं होती।
