EV Bike and Scooter Charging Buying Guide
Verified 2026-09-05 · By VUKAR Editorial Team
Compare TVS iQube 3.1 kWh and 3.5 kWh using your daily distance, parking supply and time between rides.
- The 3.1 kWh variant lists 123 km IDC range; the 3.5 kWh lists 145 km.
- IDC is a test-range figure, not a promise for every ride.
- Both list portable, offboard chargers. Confirm the exact supplied charger.
- TVS pages differ on the 3.5 kWh charging time. Resolve that before ordering.
Read the battery size after iQube
- iQube is a model family. The number identifies the battery variant.
- kWh means battery energy. It is not the motor's power or your home's plug rating.
- TVS calls these installed battery capacities. Do not relabel them as usable energy.

Check current price and stockAsk about the 3.5 kWh time
- The exact 3.5 kWh technical page states 4 hours 30 minutes for 0–80%.
- The main iQube page also shows 4 hours 40 minutes in a variant card.
- Ask TVS which time and charger apply to the scooter being delivered. Neither figure is a full-charge time.
- Do not choose between these variants on a ten-minute difference that is not yet resolved.
Plan the ride you actually take
- Write down the return journey, regular detours and distance between dependable charging stops.
- Use the stated IDC figures only as the named test comparison.
- Ask for a test ride on a relevant route. Plan a reserve rather than spending every stated kilometre.
- Check seat comfort, parking access and moving the scooter while stopped; the battery figure cannot answer those questions.
Three useful charging words
Estimate a normal charging day
- Enter the exact battery variant in the calculator.
- Use the confirmed charger rating, your daily distance and applicable electricity tariff.
- Treat the result as a planning estimate. Do not use the motor's power as charger power.
- Compare the same charge window. The published times here cover 0–80%, not 0–100%.
- Use measured electricity at the charging point when checking the actual bill impact.
Portable does not mean any socket
- Ask TVS to confirm the approved charger, plug and supply needs for the exact scooter.
- Show the charging location to a qualified electrical professional before delivery.
- Check secure cable routing and required parking permission.
- Do not assume a car wallbox or another scooter's charger is approved because a connector looks similar.
Ask the TVS seller
- Is the order for iQube 3.1 kWh or 3.5 kWh?
- Which charger and accessories are included in the final quote?
- Which 0–80% time applies to this delivered version?
- What written battery, vehicle and charger warranty terms apply?
- What is the complete local price, booking refund rule and delivery estimate?
- Who will check my charging place and handle charger service?

Quick questions
Does 145 km mean I can always ride 145 km?
No. It is the stated IDC test figure. Plan your route and reserve separately.[S2]
This comparison covers only the listed models, criteria, sources, and verification date. Omission or missing public data is not a negative judgement about any brand.
