Method

Continuous watts are summed. Starting demand uses other running loads plus the largest motor starting watts. The higher demand is converted with entered power factor and reserve.

Important limits

Screening only. Use exact manufacturer starting data and generator transient-performance software. Phase, voltage, harmonics, altitude, temperature and load sequencing matter.
