Before choosing a panel
An indicator display and automatic tank-filling control are different functions. Check the selected model and its supplied guide before ordering or installation.

Questions before choosing
What does a tank-level indicator help me see?
The indicator displays the tank-status input, giving you a visible reference to the connected level signal. Automatic tank-filling control is a separate function that starts and stops the pump from demand. Choose indication for status visibility, or select a listed level-control model when automatic filling is the requirement.
How can I use the different panel examples when choosing?
The TPM-V/W examples show three-phase panels, and the BOM-V/W examples show single-phase borewell/openwell panels. OPM-V/W and MOM-V/W are single-phase comparison options for their stated pump applications. Use the labelled examples to understand indication, then open the exact selected model details for hardware and connections.
Which indicator family matches my pump type?
BOM-V/W are single-phase borewell/openwell options, OPM-V/W are single-phase openwell options, and MOM-V/W are single-phase monoblock options. TPM-V/W are three-phase DOL options for compatible borewell, openwell and monoblock pumps. Choose the pump family and supply first, then select the matching motor-rating option.
When should I compare the W model with the V model?
In these indicator pairs, the W option adds an inbuilt MCB. That gives you a specific protection-component choice while retaining the model’s tank-status indication role. Compare the corresponding V and W listings for your pump and have the complete installation protection checked during setup.
Which timed functions should I compare in the indicator range?
BOM-V/W list Auto-Off Stop Timer operation, while TPM-V/W include Cyclic Timer functions among their timed controls. Auto-Off suits a run that ends after a duration, and cyclic timing suits repeated ON/OFF intervals. Choose that operating pattern first and use the selected model guide for its settings.
How should I use the Full and Empty indications?
Use them as the tank-status information reported by the connected input. A correctly positioned sensor gives the panel the intended level signal for that display. During commissioning, compare the real tank condition with the indicated state and adjust the sensor installation as specified.
What helps the sensor and panel work together correctly?
Use the supplied diagram for the exact panel and level input. Matching the supply phase, motor connections and sensor arrangement gives the electrician a clear installation reference. Test the status response at the tank conditions you want the indicator to show.
How do I select the motor-rating option?
The single-phase BOM, OPM and MOM indicator options here are listed for 0.5–3 HP, while TPM-V/W are listed for compatible pumps up to 10 HP. Match the individual variant to the motor nameplate and operating current. Then confirm the required wiring and settings for that selected panel.
How do the MCB and motor-protection settings work as a package?
The W models combine an inbuilt MCB with their listed overload, dry-run and voltage functions. These address different protection jobs within the installation. Have the electrician match the breaker, wiring and configured motor values together for the connected pump.
How can I use these starter panels for a maintenance-hours record?
VUKAR starter-panel total running hours remain saved across days and power cuts. Record the reading with the panel and motor identity to track operating hours between valid readings. Keep the date and work done alongside it and use the pump manufacturer’s service guidance when planning maintenance.
