Auto switch connection examples
Match the device to the starter, phase, current range and pump.
Three-phase starter examples
Use the connection diagram for the exact device and starter.
Single-phase example: DEV-K2 / DEV-K4
This borewell example does not cover every auto-switch model.
Choose the timer functions
K3, K4 and P2 include clock and cyclic timers.
K1, K2 and P1 are cyclic-timer models.
Set timing for the site
Choose run and rest times for the water source and motor.
Rest time alone does not prove that water is available.
Compare auto switch models
Compare the digital auto switch range
- Single-phase, 1–35A: DEV-K1 with cyclic timer or DEV-K3 with clock and cyclic timers.
- Single-phase, 5–200A: DEV-K2 with cyclic timer or DEV-K4 with clock and cyclic timers.
- Three-phase: DEV-P1 with cyclic timer or DEV-P2 with clock and cyclic timers.
The single-phase borewell diagram shown is labelled DEV-K2/DEV-K4. Use the exact model guide for other devices and starter arrangements.
Before installation
Match the model code, supply phase and motor rating before choosing a controller. Electrical installation and wiring should be carried out by a qualified electrician using the guide supplied with the selected model.
