Water Pump Timer Guide: Cyclic, Clock અને Auto-Off
Water pump timer નક્કી કરે છે કે pump ક્યારે બંધ થાય, run/rest cycle ક્યારે repeat થાય અથવા clock schedule ક્યારે follow થાય. Auto-off, cyclic અને clock timers અલગ સમસ્યાઓ ઉકેલે છે. આ guide તેમનો તફાવત, automatic-restart નું જોખમ અને water level controller ક્યારે વધુ યોગ્ય છે તે સમજાવે છે.

Auto-Off અથવા Stop Timer
તમે motor start કરો અને configured run time પછી timer તેને બંધ કરે છે. તે કોઈને pump બંધ કરવાનું યાદ રહે તેના પરનો આધાર ઘટાડે છે. તે water level sensor નથી: source flow બદલાય તો એકસરખા run time માં tank અલગ પ્રમાણમાં ભરાઈ શકે છે. Actual filling conditions અને exact controller manual પરથી time set કરો; બીજા installation ની value copy ન કરો.
Cyclic Timer
Cyclic timer ON period પછી rest period ને વારંવાર repeat કરે છે. તે irrigation અથવા runs વચ્ચે recovery time જોઈએ એવા source માંથી pumping માટે યોગ્ય હોઈ શકે છે. Supported controllers માં dry-run trip પછી બીજો attempt કરતાં પહેલાં configured rest period હોઈ શકે છે.

Clock Timer
Clock timer વાસ્તવિક સમય અને પસંદ કરેલા દિવસો અનુસરે છે. Fixed supply hours અથવા નક્કી સમયે pumping કરવું હોય ત્યારે તે ઉપયોગી છે. કેટલાક controllers multiple events support કરે છે, પરંતુ schedule capacity અને menu names exact model પર આધારિત છે. Tank ભરેલો છે કે borewell dry છે તે timer જાણી શકતું નથી.
Power cut પછી શું થાય?
Power-failure behaviour controller અને configuration પ્રમાણે બદલાય છે. Supported model schedule સાચવી શકે, power પાછો આવે ત્યારે restart delay કરી શકે અથવા next programmed event ની રાહ જોઈ શકે. બંધ pump બંધ જ રહેશે એવું માનતાં પહેલાં installed model નું manual તપાસો.
Timer કે water level controller?
- Elapsed time પછી બંધ કરવું હોય તો auto-off timer વિચારવો.
- Run/rest intervals repeat કરવા cyclic timer વિચારવો.
- પસંદ કરેલા સમય અને દિવસ મુજબ operation માટે clock timer વિચારવો.
- Actual tank level પર stop કરવા માટે માત્ર time ના બદલે water level controller વાપરો.

યોગ્ય timer-equipped panel કેવી રીતે પસંદ કરવી
- Pump type, supply phase, motor HP અને rated current confirm કરો.
- Control elapsed time, repeated cycle, clock અથવા tank level માંથી શેને અનુસરવું જોઈએ તે નક્કી કરો.
- Unattended automatic restart સ્વીકાર્ય છે કે નહીં તે નક્કી કરો.
- Modes, schedule capacity અને power-failure behaviour માટે exact manual તપાસો.
- Qualified electrician પાસે protection settings અને wiring તપાસાવો.
